Technology

The NP protocol uses on-chain and off-chain technologies. On-chain technology or distributed ledger technology is used to securely store hypermedia content in network nodes and transfer the copyright of content producers. Off-chain tokens and smart contracts with "centralization" are mainly used to represent on-chain tokens and the way of calculating and distributing rewards in the NP ecological map. On-chain transactions are usually slow and expensive, so off-chain transactions enable NP to To execute transactions in its ecosystem, the cost to the end user is reduced to almost zero.

Remote file management (IPFS)

NP allows publishers to participate in the ecosystem and store and edit hypermedia content (eg, plain text, graphics, audio, video, etc.) on a remote file management system (IPFS, a secure P2P network). All submitted and published news material is stored on IPFS, and the hash value of each file is securely encrypted on the blockchain.

Shuyu notarization management service

Digital notarization management services are mainly used to prove the copyright of news content. When a document is submitted for notarization, the notary management service creates a timestamp of the document to prove its 'existence' at a certain point in time, restates the content and signs the document with the creator's private key to maintain the integrity of the content sex. Another characteristic is that the owner or all group has the right to change the document. When applied to NP, this allows content producers and publishers to co-edit existing news.

Smart contract

Smart contracts embedded into the protocol are used to verify and store submitted and published content. NP uses smart contracts to operate news content production and token reward mechanisms.
